Each Flips software contains six to eight whole books. The actual stories are unchanged, however they're made more interesting and engaging by using interactive sections to keep the most reluctant of readers reading.

The Flips range brings a selection of bestselling authors to the Nintendo DS including Enid Blyton, Eoin Colfer, Cathy Cassidy and the “Too Ghoul For School” range of books. Flips uses the Nintendo DS’ touch screen to allow children to read the story on the screen, and interact with the story, solving quizes and activating sound effects and special sections to each story.

Within the stories, interactive sections appear to the reader and enhance the whole experience for the child. Each title features between 6 and 8 books from the specified author, or range or books. The children can share sections of the book with their friends, and even unlock bonus content within each Nintendo DS Flips title.
